Ventriloquist ~ Musician ~ Comedian
I’m taking ventriloquism in a new direction. Traditionally, ventriloquism has been the art of speaking without visibly moving your lips, creating the illusion that the voice is coming from somewhere else—usually a puppet or dummy.
My approach goes beyond traditional ventriloquism by combining puppetry, movement, music and performance to create something that children and teenagers can actively engage with. Rather than simply watching a puppet perform, young people can respond, move, use their imagination and match the energy of the performance.
This approach can also encourage independence, confidence and problem-solving. Giving children opportunities to complete everyday tasks for themselves, recall information and participate actively can help them develop important skills while having fun.
Imagination is an important part of childhood. It allows children to form images, ideas, sensations and concepts in their minds without needing direct input from their senses. Music can add another dimension, offering cognitive, emotional, physical and social benefits that can contribute to a child’s development.
Ventriloquism has a fascinating history stretching back thousands of years, but that doesn’t mean it has to remain stuck in the past. Puppetry can evolve, embracing music, movement, technology and new ways of engaging younger audiences.
That’s where Cyril the Squirrel comes in.
Cyril the Squirrel is here to break a few boundaries, make some noise and show that ventriloquism can be energetic, interactive and fun.

Cyril the squirrel chose the other band members by process of live auditions and distinct personal chemistry and raw talent. He auditioned 41 puppets and finally picked the best two out of the lot. Utter chaos puppets fab four. Robert Miles, human specialist puppet; Cyril the squirrel; David the Sheep, Rhythm guitarist; and Dog-on-Dog, vocalist.
Cyril the squirrel is considered a very rare and extremely rare grey squirrel guitar phenomena he only one of his kind to play electric guitar. With Air flying State stunts, Antics outrageous.
